Q. What user security is in operation for the Safe Surgery System?
A. Due to the possibility of the product being used on PCs and touch screen mobile devices (e.g. for infection control purposes) the product authenticates the users via username selection and a PIN code.
Q. How are user roles and actions controlled by the system?
A. Safe Surgery System uses its own configuration in which users are allowed to be added to multiple roles, reflecting the reality of the operating theatre environment.
Q. What is the Catalist Framework?
A. The Catalist Framework Agreement is a contractual vehicle that allows purchasers to order goods or services under the terms and conditions specified in that Framework Agreement. Purchasers in the public sector may obtain value for money in their purchasing whilst being assured that their procurement is compliant with UK and EU legislation. This saves time and money for purchasers and ensures that the terms and conditions of their contract are robust and follow best practice.
