The Company was born out of the Research & Development department of one of the UK's leading NHS Trusts, Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust. It creates solutions, designed by clinicians that harness technology to enhance patient safety and deliver more efficient healthcare delivery across hospital, emergency and primary care environments.

Based in a hospital setting has allowed Safe Patient Systems to gain a unique insight into the problems of modern healthcare resulting in an ‘end user' approach to finding simple solutions to real problems.

Our Founding Director, David Morgan FRCS, is a Consultant Surgeon at Heartlands Hospital for 14 years and was a surgical advisor to the National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA), 2001-2006. David is also on the Local Implementation Committee of Connecting for Health (CfH), a board member of Medi-Link and on the Special Healthcare Group of AIM-UK.

Our aim is to improve patient safety by enabling & creating simple solutions to enhance patient safety and efficiency in healthcare delivery
